Take Your Script to A Professional Level
What Does a Script Consultant Do?
I help you make your script better.
My name is Grant Myers, and I have worked in the entertainment industry for over 23 years — the last 17 as a professional screenwriter who adapted the 2014 hit film THE MAZE RUNNER.
As a professional script consultant I read your script and draw on my vast experience to give you detailed, in-depth, targeted notes and feedback designed to help you craft the absolute best draft to send out into the marketplace.
Yes, the marketplace — because you aren’t just writing a script, you are writing a movie, and my goal is to help you get it on screen.
Here’s the thing about me: I love working with fellow writers. I have always enjoyed reading scripts and giving notes, going all the way back to my days as a studio assistant. Screenwriting can be solitary but the creative process takes collaboration — and I’d love to collaborate with you.
What Does a Script Consultant NOT Do?
I don’t use A.I and I don’t have a sweatshop of monkeys with typewriters cranking out coverage for me. I am the one reading your script and giving notes.
Working with me does not entitle me to any kind of credit or claim to your work. I will not attach myself as a producer or claim ownership of your script because I gave you a note that led to you writing a jaw-dropping finale.
When you write the next Big Thing you deserve 100% of the credit.
